Astrograph – 150mm / 2.8 – optimized up to 45mm image circle

The special optics for deepsky photography. Perfectly suited for CCD astro cameras as well as for DSLR. In addition to the special primary mirror, the hypoboloid astrograph has a corrector that is directly matched to the system. The illuminated field of view of 45mm is achieved by the optimized secondary mirror with 70mm and the corrector built directly into the focuser.

The key to success: adaption of the recording camera by screwing

No matter how high-quality the camera and optics are, if the adaptation does not fit, the optical performance will never reach the sensor. Therefore the camera is screwed on.

For this purpose the 2.5 “-R & P eyepiece extension has both an M63x0.75 internal thread and an M48x0.75 external thread. The working distance from the two threads is approx. 55mm.
If you buy the camera from us or bring your camera with us , we optimize the adaptation live on the star with an optimally made adapter.
